October 23rd - Eat Mor Chikin

After the game this morning (shakes head), we all met up at The Domain to eat at NoRTH. There was some sort of dog show going on, and people had dogs dressed up in some interesting costumes. This was one of my favorites. (I also liked the dog dressed as Lady Gaga at the VMAs - but I couldn't get my camera up fast enough.)

October 21st - Burnt Orange Blues

After spending the afternoon working on an e-mail for one of UT's rivals, I was happy to come home, put on a UT shirt, and see Gilbert in his uniform.

Today I went to the Texas Book Festival at the State Capitol. I sat in on a session for Awkward Family Photos, and it was hilarious. Besides that, the highlight was waiting in line for a corn dog and lemonade. The line wasn't fun, but eating the corn dog was.

This morning I went to church in Round Rock. The grounds of the church were absolutely beautiful, and I just loved this statue of little children climbing a ladder. The picture above is a close-up of one of the kids.

October 7th - Seeing Stars

Why is it that when you want to be somewhere early, you hit the worst traffic? (I really shouldn't complain since my drive to work takes me literally 5 minutes.) I had to wait through 2 cycles of the light to turn left, which fortunately gave me enough time to snap the photo for today.

October 3rd - Pumpkin Patch

Paul, Esther, and I went to church this morning at Bethany UMC. There were a pumpkin patch outside, and we all had fun looking around after the service. Visiting a pumpkin patch has to be one of my favorite fall traditions!
